How To Enchant Rods In Fisch

To begin enchanting, you’ll need to wait for nightfall within Fisch. When the moon rises, head to the Statue of Sovereignty and into the mines. Speak with the Cole NPC (haha, clever name choice!) who stands before an elevator. For 400C$, he will give you a token to enter the lift and return once done.

Head down the elevator and you’ll have found the Keepers Altar. This area is home to a few things including a new roster of bestiary fish, the King’s Rod and a stone podium that emits a strange aura during nightfall. With the rod you wish to enchant equipped, head onto the podium and hold an Enchant Relic item in your hand. On interaction, a popup will ask if you want to fuse the relic to your rod which rolls for a random enchantment automatically when accepted.

If you don’t like the given enchantment, you can redo the ritual with a new Enchantment Relic and repeat the process until the alter deactivates at sunrise.

Where To Get Enchant Relics

Enchant Relics have a few obtainment methods including:

  • Fishing
    • Whilst rare, you have a 1 in 500 chance of fishing up an Enchant Relic. This is ideal for players who don’t yet qualify to speak with Merlin.
  • Codes
    • Occasionally, the DEVs release a Code that gives Enchant Relics on redemption. Check out our Fisch Codes guide to see if any Enchant Relic codes are active currently!
  • Merlin
    • This NPC located in the hut on top of Sunstone Island will only talk to players who are level 30 or higher. For the hefty price of 11,000 C$, they’re able to buy Enchant Relics. During the conversation, Merlin advertises them as ‘Power’.

Which Rods Should You Enchant?

Whilst you’re allowed to enchant any rod, you should consider the longevity of it before enchanting. Only rods you actively use with strong stats that have late-game value should be enchanted. But hey, who am I to tell you what to do? For example, I recently obtained the King’s Rod which has great potential to fish anywhere if not for its shorter line. However, by some stroke of luck, I managed to get the Long Enchantment which increased the line by 50 studs. Nifty!
