Indie Retro News: Forgotten Forest 2

If you’ve missed out on some of the Halloween news yesterday, then thanks to Saberman giving us a shout out on Facebook, he has told us that the enhanced SEUCK game known as ‘Forgotten Forest 2’, has been released completely free by Alf Yngve, Richard Bayliss and Milasoft for the Commodore 64. A top scrolling action game as a nod of the classic Forbidden Forest! To coincide with this news, if this sounds like your sort of game, then make sure to check out the footage below.

Here’s what the website says about the game. “In this game you must negotiate a narrow path while taking care of the attacking demons and monsters that lurk in the forest. There is very little room to avoid the enemies so you must dispatch them by shooting them. Can you survive your journey through the FORGOTTEN FOREST?! GOOD LUCK!”

  • FORGOTTEN FOREST 2 is an enhanced SEUCK game for the Commodore 64. You can play the game in a C64 emulator (we recommend VICE) or you can port the game onto real C64 hardware if you have the resources to do so. The download file features the .d64 (C64 disk version) and .tap (C64 tape version). The files included in the download have been tested on and work perfectly on the C64Mini/Maxi systems.
