The Fisch Sea Mine is one of the rarest creatures in the game, and the place they appear in can be a little tricky to get to. Our guide explains where you can find one and the bait and weather it likes.

Fisch Sea Mine Guide
Sea Mines are a little different compared to your typical fish. They are small circular creatures that have a dark purple color with spurts coming out the side of them. They are one of the rarest available in the game, and getting to the location where they appear is even harder.
How To Catch A Sea Mine
You can find Sea Mines in the Desolate Deep. However, you can’t catch them with a fishing rod. Instead, you will need to use crab cages, which you can purchase from most of the main islands for 45C$. They are a one-time use, so once you place one in the water and catch something, they’ll disappear!
These creatures are of mythical rarity. Rumor has it that it can take more than 1,000 Crab Cages to catch one! Keep in mind that Sea Mines can also only appear during clear weather but during any season or time of day.
Desolate Deep
For a more detailed guide on how to get to this area, check out the guide I linked above. However, I’ll give you a quick rundown here if you prefer things short and sweet.
You’ll need Diving Gear to swim down into the Desolate Deep. Head to the buoy located behind Sunstone Isle and swim down through the holes and passageways. Once inside, start placing your crab cages down and hope you get lucky enough to get one of these mythical creatures.
