A new photo from Star Wars: Skeleton Crew sees Jod Na Nawood, played by Jude Law, checking out a strange inscription on the wall, which turns out to be an old language of the Sith.
The image, revealed in the latest issue of Empire Magazine, reveals links to the Disney+ Ahsoka series, set in the same timeline which also used these inscriptions, depicting “ur-Kittât,” aka the “Old Tongue” language of the Sith.
Skeleton Crew features four young curious protagonists, Wim, Fern, KB and Neel along with the mysterious and enigmatic Jod Na Nawood and the droid SM-33, the decrepit first mate of the Onyx Cinder. The kids get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy and have to find their way home, meeting unlikely allies and enemies along the way.
It remains to be seen if these inscriptions form the basis of the series or if they are just a clue used along the way. Either way, we don’t have too long to wait as the double episode premiere of Skeleton Crew streams on Disney+ from December 4th in the UK/Europe, and December 3rd in North America.
Bring it on!
